CAMP NEWS AND UPDATES
This area will be updated with important news and information related to our camps.
FALL CAMP MAKEUP DATES: We had some unfortunate issues with our court reservations this year that have caused us to miss 3 different sessions. The following Thursday dates will be the makeup dates for those lessons. Time and location remain the same.
NOVEMBER 6th

NOVEMBER 20th
Sept. 3, 2008... FALL Junior Camp Parents and Participants:
We're looking forward to beginning our FALL Junior Camp on Thursday, Sept. 11th. We do have one date for the camp that we already know will need to be rescheduled due to court availability. The UCA courts will not be available on Thursday, Sept. 25th. Mark will be rescheduling this camp day as soon as we can confirm a new date.

Lessons and Camps
Mark Rowden is a USPTA certified tennis instructor and is available for private lessons at the following rates:
30 minute sessions: $20
One hour sessions: $35
Five one hour sessions are available for $150
Group lessons also available.

NEW LADIES TENNIS GROUP
Ladies, you're invited to join a new class that will be held every Thursday morning in September. We'll begin on Thursday, September 4th from 8:30-9:30am at the UCA Tennis Courts and continue for 4 straight weeks. The cost for the 4 sessions is $40.00.
We'll only be able to take the first 12 ladies who join, so call Mark or send him an email and let him know you're interested.

2008 Tennis Camp Schedule
2008 Tennis Camp @ UCA Schedule for ages 4 - 18
Fall Tennis Camp Sep. 11th - Oct. 30th Thursdays 4:30 - 5:30
Cost for each camp is $100 for ages 7 - 18
Discounts Available:
Register at least 1 week prior to start date, $90
Sibling discount: $75 registration for each additional child in the household
Little Tennis for kids ages 4-6
Cost for each camp is $75
Spring and Fall camp sessions are 45 min. each (4:30 - 5:15)

Mickey's Passing
As most of you know by now, our dear friend Mickey Bentley passed from this life Thursday evening May 8, 2008.
Mickey was a person who will never be equaled and can never be replaced. His life, especially in these last years, was dedicated to helping others achieve within themselves the potential that he saw in everybody. He made us all feel good about ourselves and he made us want to be like him in many ways. Tennis in Conway will simply never be the same without Mickey's lessons, camps, and clinics.
I, for one, will forever feel the loss of my friend and my brother. My family will also sorely miss him. Mickey, if you can read this...we all love you, and we'll see you again soon!
